How do I get a copy of my marriage certificate in Georgia?
To request a copy of the marriage application, certificate, and/or verification, please complete and mail the applicable form to our office.

Can you get married in Florida with a Georgia marriage license?
You can get married in any county in Florida, regardless of where you obtained your marriage license.
Can you get married without a marriage license in Florida?
Commitment ceremonies and vow renewals do not require licenses. Florida marriage licenses can be obtained in any Florida courthouse, and will be valid for 60 days to be married anywhere in Florida.
Can I get a marriage license online in Florida?

What states can a notary perform marriages?
Maybe. Two states — Minnesota and Indiana — have recently proposed legislation that would permit Notaries to perform wedding ceremonies. If passed, those states would join Maine, South Carolina, Florida and Nevada as the only jurisdictions to allow Notaries to legally join two people in marriage.
How long is an ordination?
The ordination process may be instant or take up to two weeks. You can contact the ministry if you don’t receive it by then. Once everything falls into place, you will become an ordained minister!
What is the difference between licensed and ordained ministers?
Ordination permits the minister to perform church rites and sacraments, such as baptisms, legal marriages and funerals. Unlike ordination, which is usually considered to be a one-time event, the credentials for licensed ministers may only be valid for a specific period of time.
