Can you change your name to profanity?
Profane words and racial slurs will not be accepted by courts. It is best to stay away from attempting to change your name to a racial slur or profane word.
Can I go by a different name?
You can call yourself whatever you want socially. It is actually extremely common. Think about all the people who go by Bob but whose legal name is Robert. As long as you never use it in situations where you need to be legally using your legal name – bank accounts, employment records, taxes, etc.
How do you change your name on Zoom?
To change your name after entering a Zoom meeting, click on the “Participants” button at the top of the Zoom window. Next, hover your mouse over your name in the “Participants” list on the right side of the Zoom window. Click on “Rename”. Enter the name you’d like to appear in the Zoom meeting and click on “OK”.
