Proctored exams are timed exams that you take while proctoring software monitors your computer’s desktop, webcam video and audio. The data recorded by the proctoring software is transferred to a proctoring service for review. Proctored exams may or may not be required for your course and enrollment track.

How do I make sure Proctorio is working?

To get Chrome on your computer and install the extension see the Get Proctorio web site. Once you have the extension installed, open your Canvas course, click settings, then click the Navigation tab at the top, then drag the “Secure Exam Proctoring” to the enabled list of applications.

How do you test for Proctorio?

To get it back on your screen, click on the “​Reveal the Quiz box” button right under the Proctorio logo on the left hand side of your screen. After completing your exam, click on ​“Submit Exam”. That’s it!!
