Why is it better to stay alone?

Living alone gives you the opportunity to explore your true self and develop a sense of being comfortable in your own skin. This might be the simple act of being comfortable in your own company. Or being able to spot what triggers negative feelings and (most importantly) what you can do to counteract them.

How can I have fun living alone?

There have been some rough moments, but these are the ways my extroverted self has made these unpredictable days a little more bearable while living alone.

  1. Set a schedule—and stick to it.
  2. Eat real meals.
  3. Schedule time to talk to people.
  4. Play music (or turn on the TV)
  5. Move your body.

How do I stop puking anxiety?

Try these when you feel nauseated:

  1. Eat a small amount of something dry, like plain crackers or plain bread.
  2. Slowly sip water or something clear and cold.
  3. If you’re wearing something tight, change into clothing that doesn’t restrict your stomach.
  4. Try to calm yourself by taking long, deep breaths.
