With permission from the test taker, proctors have the ability to view the screen and move the mouse and keyboard as if he or she were sitting next to the test taker. Once the test starts, the proctor will monitor everything but can no longer move the test takers mouse and keyboard.

How do I start a ProctorU exam?
On the “My Sessions” page on your ProctorU account, there will be a countdown timer showing you how much time you have until your next exam. When the timer reaches 0:00, a “Start Session” button will appear. Click the “Start Session” button to begin your session. This will not take you into your exam immediately.
