Which is better FamilySearch or ancestry?
Ancestry.com and FamilySearch.org are both great online family history services. The main difference, of course, is that FamilySearch.org is free with (largely) free access to records (records from Fold3.com being the notable exception).
How reliable is FamilySearch?
Familysearch is good for records, but not from ‘trees’ they are user generated and not considered a good source. You may, however, find they give hints of where to search next. This statement can be made about any internet family trees. It all depends on the ability of the researcher, and the quality of the research.
Do you have to be Mormon to use FamilySearch?
You do not have to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to make use of a Family History Center. Everyone is welcome to visit the centers and use their resources.

What happens if you dont answer census?
By census law, refusal to answer all or part of the census carries a $100 fine. The penalty goes up to $500 for giving false answers. But the fine could be significantly higher than $100 for purposely avoiding questions.
What happened to the 1931 census?
The 1931 census returns, including schedules, enumeration books and plans, were completely destroyed in a fire in Hayes, Middlesex, where the census was being stored. Many precautions had been taken to protect the census, which all failed. The 1941 UK census was not taken due to World War II.
What year is the next census?
The most recent national census took place in 2020; the next census is scheduled for 2030. Since 2013, the Census Bureau began discussions on using technology to aid data collection starting with the 2020 census.
